The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closed on February 4, 2020 at 7,226.90, up by 89.87 points or 1.26 percent.
There were 113 advances, 73 declines, and 38 unchanged issues.
Foreign investors accounted for 58 percent of today’s total turnover value.
The total turnover value closed at P6.52 billion today.
The Financial sector led the other sectors with a positive day change at 2.10 percent. Only the Mining and Oil sector closed with a red day change at 0.61 percent.
PSEi’s support remains near 6,990 while the resistance is near 7,475.
Foreign investors are net sellers year-to-date.
The Philippine Stock Exchange Index is more than likely to continue to descend. Note that today’s Net Foreign Selling is the biggest one-day NFS year-to-date.
